With nearly 27 years of experience in the steel industry, Oak has spent most of his career focused on B2B sales through long-term client (both internal and external), and vendor relationship building and trust. He began his journey with Infra-Metals in 1998 after graduating from engineering school and has since held a variety of positions, including Sales, General Manager, VP Commercial, and COO.
Now serving as President of The Infra Group, Oak focuses on engaging with as many of the 1,100 employees across the 16 branches of Infra-Metals, Delta Steel, and Sugar Steel. His mission is to develop a sustainable leadership group that embraces the company’s vision and culture necessary for long-term success. His vision for all 16 locations is simple: create an environment where everyone wants to come to work each day.
Outside of work, Oak is truly inspired by his wife and two young children—they are his absolute WHY. Together, they prioritize an active lifestyle and a commitment to clean, healthy living. Oak has found meaningful purpose in being both a provider and a protector, whether in his personal life or in his professional role.
Herbert serves as CFO of The Infra Group, bringing extensive expertise in financial oversight and strategy. Early in his career, he was a Senior Manager at E&Y in the Entrepreneurial Services practice, advising private equity-backed companies before leaving to join a client—a PE-backed platform that acquired freestanding, outpatient surgery centers.
He went on to serve as CFO for PE-backed, growth-oriented companies, primarily in the manufacturing and healthcare industries, before joining a consulting firm that was later engaged by PNA (Infra-Metals’ former parent) shortly after its acquisition by Platinum Equity.
Herb joined Infra-Metals full-time following Reliance’s acquisition of PNA in 2008.
As CFO of The Infra Group, Herb is responsible for all financial reporting, systems, and controls, including IT functions and internal reporting designed to instill operational accountability. His responsibilities also include financial modeling, forecasting, and capital expenditure management.
Amy brings nearly 20 years of experience at Infra-Metals to her role as Vice President of Workforce Development. Over the years, she’s seen firsthand how strong teams and genuine relationships can move a business forward—and that belief has been central to the vision she helped shape for this role.
With a foundation in sales, Amy’s approach is practical, people-focused, and results-driven. She’s passionate about helping teams succeed, building supportive workplace cultures, and aligning workforce strategy with long-term business goals. Whether it’s implementing positive change, mentoring future leaders, or finding smarter ways to operate, Amy is most energized by helping others grow and thrive.
Her areas of focus include employee engagement, leadership development, culture transformation, and operational efficiency—but at the end of the day, her goal is simple: to make work a place where people feel valued and excited to contribute.
Outside of work, Amy’s true passions include spending quality time with family, traveling to new places, cooking delicious meals, and sharing a glass of wine with friends. These experiences fuel her passion for creating meaningful connections, both professionally and personally.
Greg brings more than 35 years of experience in the steel industry to his role as Vice President of Operations at The Infra-Group. He began his career in 1989 at Northwestern Steel & Wire in Houston, Texas, where he served as Production Scheduler for the mill.
In 1994, he joined Chaparral Steel (now Gerdau) in Midlothian, Texas, as Finished Inventory Manager, and was later promoted to General Foreman of the Product Distribution Department, where he oversaw shipping operations.
In 1999, Greg accepted the role of General Manager of the Product Distribution Department at a new mill under construction in Petersburg, Virginia. His responsibilities soon expanded to include Quality Assurance, Production Scheduling, Finishing, and Billet Yard Operations. In 2004, he was promoted to General Manager of Steel Production and Scrap Operations.
Greg joined Infra-Metals in 2009 and has held several key leadership roles, including sales manager and general manager of the Petersburg, VA facility. In 2019, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations, where he continues to lead with a focus on safety, performance, efficiency, and operational excellence across the organization.

A graduate of the University of Rio Grande with Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Business Management, PJ began his career with Infra-Metals in 2013 as one of the first sales hires at the brand-new facility in New Boston, Ohio. After a year in sales, he was promoted to Sales Manager, a role he held until early 2018, when he accepted the position of General Manager at the Ohio location.
In June 2022, PJ took the opportunity to relocate and become the General Manager at the Atlanta, GA facility, where he helped facilitate the development of our new greenfield location in Buchanan, GA. In 2024, PJ was honored to be promoted to his current position: Vice President of Commercial for The Infra-Group.

Outside of work, PJ’s greatest joy comes from his family—his wife, Sarah, and their four beautiful children: daughter Blaire, son Nolan, and twin daughters Nora and Brynn.
