At Infra Metals, our Hi-Def Plasma cutter uses a tighter nozzle than standard plasma cutting to concentrate the plasma arc, resulting in a higher tolerance finished product that requires little or no edge grinding.
Drilling is the process of forming holes in steel and other materials utilizing a drill bit. This can be achieved by using either carbide single point, carbide multipoint, or high-speed steel bits. Infra-Metals can counterbore, ream, and tap.
Infra-Metals offers a variety of value-added processes and saw cutting is one of our most common. Through the use of our CNC enabled saws and our nesting program, we are able to save our customers time and money as well as produce cut to length pieces with little to no scrap.
Infra-Metals offers several different size press brakes to accommodate almost any project, from 20’ to 60’ brakes across the country.
Blast & Prime
Infra-Metals’s Blast & Prime process can handle a variety of product sizes, widths and lengths. We can shot blast and prime plates up to 144″ wide and 75 feet long. We can also shot blast and prime any structural shape including angles, beams, channels, pipe and tubing up to 144″ wide and 17″ high. If your project requires, we are capable of blasting and priming one side only or both as necessary.
Infra-Metals’s cambering process can handle a variety of beam sizes. We can camber a minimum length of 20′ and up to WF 40 X 397#.
The Infra-Metals T-Split line consists of roller conveyors, transfer tables, and screw-type lifting rollers to speed the process in the operation. Our T-Split machines are fully programmable from the heating process, splitting, and to the cooling process, all speeding the process up and taking minimal time to produce the T-Splits.
