Nikki Kubie is the Sales Manager in Wallingford, CT.
From Nursing to Sales, Nikki’s career is a story of seizing opportunities and embracing challenges. Currently serving as the energetic Sales Manager in Infra-Metals Wallingford, she has carved an impressive eighteen year career that defies expectations and is a testament to the power of perseverance and adaptability. Nikki’s career trajectory is far from linear however. Prior to joining Infra-Metals, she worked in healthcare and direct mail sales. A family health crisis led to a position in the construction supply industry, fostering knowledge for the future.
It was a friend’s recommendation that introduced her to Infra-Metals. Drawn to the company’s growth potential and the opportunity to learn about the steel industry, she joined our team at the Tampa, FL division in 2006. With an educational background in nursing from HCC in Tampa, FL, Nikki began her professional journey as a Customer Service Representative. Tasked with duties such as intercompany sales, logistics and purchasing, she embraced her new role.
Nikki was clearly built for the inside sales role she would eventually take on in 2007.

Career Growth
After a move to cooler climates in 2011, Nikki put her sales experience to the test and became the Sales Manager for the New England region in 2021. Her role is demanding and fast-paced. She thrives on the competitive nature of the job and the satisfaction of leading a high-performing team. Nikki’s enthusiasm for the steel industry is contagious, and she’s proud to be part of an industry that has shaped America.

Outside of work, Nikki is a dedicated mother of three and a competitive softball player. She also enjoys reading and is a history studying ninja!
