Infra-Metals is a member of The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), headquartered in Chicago. AISC is a not-for-profit technical institute and trade association established in 1921 to serve the structural steel design community and construction industry in the United States. AISC’s mission is to make structural steel the material of choice by being the leader in structural-steel-related technical and market-building activities, including: specification and code development, research, education, technical assistance, quality certification, standardization, and market development. AISC has a long tradition of service to the steel construction industry providing timely and reliable information.

MSCI

Infra-Metals is a member of The Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI). MSCI is the broadest-based, not-for-profit association serving the industrial metals industry. As the premier metals trade association, MSCI provides vision and voice to the metals industry, along with the tools and perspective necessary for a more successful business. The MSCI offers service centers, producing mills and affiliate members an impressive array of high-level programs and services. The MSCI goal is to meet the needs of their members for knowledge and thought leadership, provide data and education for operational efficiency, promote industry advocacy, and create a marketplace for efficient transactions, debate, discussion and learning.

SSSBA

The Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance (SSSBA) is a group of bridge and culvert industry leaders – including steel manufacturers, fabricators, service centers, coaters, researchers, and representatives of related associations and government organizations – who have joined together to provide educational information on the design and construction of short span steel bridges in installations up to 140 feet in length. The SSSBA’s objective is to provide essential information to bridge owners and designers on the use of short span bridges.

The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International® (FMA) is a professional organization with more than 2,500 individual and company members.
Founded in 1970, FMA brings metal fabricators and equipment manufacturers together through technology councils, educational programs, networking events, and FABTECH®, the industry’s leading trade show.

 

The Association of Metal Processors and Distributors (AMPD and formerly known as ASD) was founded in 1943 and became a technology affiliate of FMA in 2018.
